The theme of my film is about the subject of female self-objectification. It is the story of a lemon's constant quest for perfection. It aims to reveal and criticize society's imposition of dominant aesthetic standards for women and its effect on women's sense of self. From the perspective of an underprivileged and easily ignored group, I hope to tell the story of this problem that many women are facing without realizing it.

In terms of methodology, I abandoned the human-centered narrative structure and made the lemon, an everyday fruit, the protagonist. By combining everyday objects with symbolism, I can tell my theme in an allegorical and metaphorical way. The film utilizes an unconventional narrative structure - a combination of still photography and archival material - to tell the story of many women's quest for excellence amidst the insecurities of appearance and cosmetic surgery.
