This project is a visual exploration that merges South Korean magazines with North Korean newspapers to highlight the stark contrast between the media environments of the two countries. By printing images from South Korean magazines over the text of North Korean newspapers, the project sheds light on the politically and socially distinct aspects of media in each nation. It explores the difference between the commercially driven, diverse content of South Korean magazines and the politically controlled, limited content found in North Korean newspapers. The project delves into the visual disparities between the two forms of media. By comparing South Korean magazines with North Korean newspapers, it examines how the content in each reflects the unique social and political landscapes of their respective countries.
