The “Fun-House?” piece addresses the relentless pace of digital overstimulation in a life of a contemporary individual. Toying with Hito Steyerl’s idea of “poor image” saturating everyday existence, the installation reflects on the immediate availability of artificial dopamine through constant and inevitable influx of poorly made “brain rot” content, often wrapped as harmless recreation. By metaphorising rapid flickering of quickly vanishing images, the environment is created where physical forms are replaced with simulation, putting the user into a state of disorientation.
