Invisible investigates reading as a conditional and time-limited act rather than a stable possession. Taking the Cyrus Cylinder as a point of reference, the project examines how translation, visibility, and access are mediated through institutional systems. The Bookwork operates as a device rather than a traditional book, staging the reading experience as a conditional and spatial act dependent on light, framing, and bodily posture subverting the assumed neutrality of a traditional book. Through cut and engraved text the Bookwork reflects on how knowledge is revealed, withheld, and structured through mechanisms of institutional control.
