Equal and Unique is a video installation that invites viewers to observe life as coexistence, change, and presence beyond human control, exploring a non-anthropocentric way of understanding living beings.

It documented the growth, expansion, and interaction of bacteria collected from natural environments under the same conditions. Bacterial cultures are stained and placed in petri dishes, where they grow and interact unpredictably without human intervention. It does not treat the bacteria as experimental objects, but as representatives of different forms of life in the natural world.

The project uses video as the primary medium, combining collage, time-lapse, and background sound with musical rhythm. Video is not only treated as a documentary tool, but also as a medium that carries sensory experience. Image, sound, and rhythm guide the viewer to sense and observe. The audience is invited to experience fusion and disorder.
