This project aims to explore the transmission and expression of intergenerational memory through diverse media. We employed diverse materials and techniques, including clay, mould casting, and imprinting, to create physical models. These physical models, through the application of different media and materials, demonstrate the diversity and complexity of memory. For instance, the textures, tactile qualities, and fragility imparted by different media symbolise the varying layers and transformations of memory within intergenerational transmission. These subtle distinctions embody the richness and complexity of memory. Through this approach, audiences gain a more intuitive understanding of how memory continually evolves across time and generations. Each medium possesses unique textures, tactile qualities, and symbolic meanings. By employing these varied materials, we not only reveal the layered and nuanced nature of memory but also illuminate its evolving characteristics over time, thereby enriching and deepening the project’s overall significance.
