During late Capitalism, consumerism had caused the alienation of values, increased environmental burden and resource waste, and the homogenisation of social identity. Drawing on this background, this project aims to critique the social phenomenon of overconsumption through bubble wrap, a material commonly used in logistics and transportation. The unique acoustic properties of bubble wrap echo the fleeting pleasure and false satisfaction driven by consumerism, hoping to draw attention to overconsumption and resource waste through this project.
