“Wind Gesture” is a project that interrogates into the invisible qualities of wind. By using the London Underground station as a case study, this media studies project spotlights environmental issues and how mundane rituals such as commuting expose us to such impacts. A duct carries the wind and allows it to pass through, but it does not really interact with the wind. Wind can be seen as an energy or a trajectory of motion. The wind interacts with it in a way that can be seen as having some effect on many objects, such as people, animals, traffic, facilities, etc. Wind also carries many things, such as air currents, noise, and pollution. To put it another way, wind is also an energy source. One can convert the wind into a green energy source to deal with the problems we are currently facing in terms of climate crisis or environmental crisis, and convert its impact into an energy source that we can currently use.
