As many natural ecosystems disappear, our world edges closer to environmental collapse. Access to the planet is already restricted, and may soon become impossible for humans and non-humans alike.
In the face of impending catastrophe, we must reconsider our approach to care. Though often unnoticed, care envelops us constantly—we care for things, and they reciprocate.
This project introduces the concept of networks of care, a system fostering human relationships and acknowledging the crucial role of non-human labor in our daily lives. Through a collection of found footage and satellite photography, the book captures these networks, prompting us to reimagine care in our increasingly disaster-prone world.
