The inspiration for this project initially arose from daily TV news. While news reporters are typically placed at the centre of the screen, our attention is often drawn to the scenes unfolding behind them. This realisation led me to understand that when it comes to images, it is not solely the object or person that defines the meaning but the background that provides hints to the viewers, inconspicuously guiding them to perceive in a specific way.
A two-channel (multiple-channel) video installation is a medium where videos are displayed on different screens simultaneously. This format allows the audience to engage with multiple videos concurrently, and the arrangement of the screen channels can influence the viewing experience.
