My project investigates the degradation of materials in historical sites and simulates the damage caused by the influence of external factors. I chose to work with the Himalayan salt block, because it was formed around 200 million years ago. It is a hard solid that is relatively easy to break, and the bare leakage will melt under the influence of temperature and humidity. I used water flosser, candle, electro drill and other tools to simulate rain, light, high temperature, and man-made destruction.
