In this project I aim to mediate a sense of a ritual that can take place in the mundane. Do the ceremonious aspects of eating turn this everyday action into a ritual? Can the ritual exist without the sense of ceremony? By juxtaposing two different approaches to this habitual act, in this short film I aim to mediate the distinction between the act of eating and the ritual of eating.
