We consume our environment more intensively than ever before. We take elements of it with us as resources, with the aim to preserve, research or simply for sentimental reasons. Starting out from a personal dilemma, my scrapbook is looking into the removal and extraction of geologic materials by humans, their underlying intentions and the extent of the impact of these actions.
