The Piccadilly Circus advertisements have been a famous feature of central London since 1908 when they hosted the first Perrier advertisement. Billboards, wherever they are located, often represent economic, cultural, and even political ideals. However, they also hide and disguise the built environment.
This project aims to reconstruct the buildings to which the Piccadilly digital billboards are attached - revealing the hidden and forgotten facade of such a historic and iconic site in the heart of London.
