Sunday the thirteenth of October 2019, a day that marked the disappearance of hundred forests in Lebanon, due to an uncontrollable wildfire that lasted for two consecutive days. Distracted, the Lebanese people prioritised the seemingly natural incident rather than the wall being constructed by Israel on disputed land between the two countries, in a more direct way, the wildfires, sweeping through the country, hid the construction of a wall that will pose a greater problem in the near future.

This project documents the 2019 protests in Beirut, Lebanon - capturing moments of solidarity and unified voices of the people against the corruption that engulfs the state and large corporations.
